Carol Ann Galloway, 75, of Leachville, widow of Eddy Galloway, passed from this life Sunday evening, Feb. 21, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born in St. Louis, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Cecil and Marcelite Sinclair Ralston and had been a longtime Leachville and Manila area resident. She was a certified nurses aide, having been employed by Monette Manor Nursing Center and the Area Agency on Aging of Jonesboro. Carol enjoyed watching wrestling, gospel music and spending time with her family, especially her grandsons and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kesha McCallie.

Survivors include three daughters, Annette Bodi of Jonesboro, Sherry Huddleston (David) of Leachville and Michelle "Shorty" Martin of Manila; one brother, Lee Ralston of St. Louis, Mo. She also leaves six grandsons and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 25, at Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Rev. Gary Galloway officiating. Burial will follow in the Manila Cemetery. Serving as active pallbearers will be her grandsons, Bobbie Martin, Shane Martin, Cody Martin, Tim Decker, David Huddleston, Jr. and Robert McCallie. 

The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In compliance with the state's directive regarding COVID-19, attendance will be limited and face masks and social distancing will be required. Friends may sign the online guest register at www.howardfuneralservice.com.
