Gary Don Smith

Gary Don Smith, 68, of Caraway, passed away Thursday, Feb. 18, 2021, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

He was born April 2, 1952, in Black Oak. Gary enjoyed working with wood, listening to music and doing lawn care for people.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Vernie Smith, and two brothers, Morrell Mangrum and Jerry Henry.

He is survived by three sisters, Phyllis Long of Cherokee Village, Glenda Sands and Janet Brewer, both of Caraway; a brother, David Smith of Caraway; and a host of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 24, at Gregg Funeral Home in Monette with Tim Bassing officiating. Interment will follow at Caraway Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.

Lasting memorials may be sent to Paragould Children’s Home.
