Alberta Miller, 68, entered eternal rest Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, due to complications from COVID 19. She leaves to cherish her memories her devoted husband, Curtis Miller, whom she wed in 2002; daughter, Quantia Fletcher (Derrick); son, J.D. Ronate Mills (Angela); three stepsons, Calvin Johnson, Michael Bingham, and Andre Miller; two stepdaughters, Tomika Seaberry (Robert) and Angela Miller; two sisters, Patricia Felix (Isaac) and Georgia Roy; and a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents the late Ida Mae Roy and George Scott.

Mrs. Miller was a native of New Orleans, La., and was a 1971 graduate of Walter L. Cohen High School. She relocated to Blytheville following Hurricane Katrina. She was a servant leader and loved people and her community. She was a woman of God who adored her church family Open Door House of Prayer and faithfully severed in many roles there. She enjoyed bringing people together, shopping and was very creative. You could very likely find her on any given Saturday using her entrepreneurial spirit at her community sales. More than anything she loved her family and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, Jan. 30, at 10 a.m. A private funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Both services will be held at New Immanuel Baptist Church, 1425 S. Elm, Blytheville. Services are entrusted to Jarrett Funeral Home, 530 Lumerate St., Blytheville, AR 72315, 870-762-0885.

Social distancing and masks will be enforced.
