Judith Kay “Judy” Boyd

Judith Kay “Judy” Boyd of Bay departed this life Thursday at St. Bernards Medical Hospital in Jonesboro at the age of 76 years, one month and one day. She was born Wednesday, Dec. 13, 1944, in Carthage, Mo. to the late Loren Edward and Roszetti Campbell Poulson and had lived in Bay for the past three years and was formerly of Trumann and California. Mrs. Boyd was a Walmart associate in Jonesboro and was a member of the Broadway Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Bay. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence “Bobby” Boyd; two sisters, Rachel Poulson and Lorene Hair; one brother, Tommy Poulson, and her parents.

Survivors include one daughter, Jenifer Corn and husband Terry of Bay; one son, John Boyd of Bay; three sisters, Trudy Poulson and Ilene Hair, both of Ceres, Calif., and Georgina Miller of Turlock, Calif.; one brother, Dick Poulson and wife Jackie of Ceres, Calif.; four grandchildren; Curtis Boyd, Ashley Boyd, Trenton Corn and wife Courtnee, Shelby Corn; and four great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life was Jan. 17 at Broadway Avenue Missionary Baptist Church in Bay with Reverend Rick Jensen officiating. A graveside committal service was Jan. 18 at the Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., of Trumann.

In compliance with COVID-19 guidelines, a mask or other facial covering was required, a COVID-19 acknowledgment form was required to be signed and social distancing was observed.
