Gloria Mae Clark Perry

Gloria Mae Clark Perry, 73, of Osceola died Jan. 12, 2021, at Jackson Madison Hospital in Jackson, Tenn. She confessed her hope in Christ at the age of 12 under the leadership of the late G.H. Conway at New Bethel Church in Blytheville. She was a member of New Salem MB Church and Motherboard in Luxora under the leadership of Rev. McArthur Hampton. She worked as a cook at Cotton Inn for a number of years and was a retired Headstart teacher for MCAEOC after 45 years. Ms. Perry was born June 3, 1947, in Marion, to the late Samuel Lee Clark and the late Laurel lee Williams Clark. She was reared by her grandmother, the late Iola Mitchell. She was preceded in death by her parents; her grandmother; one brother, Jerry W. Clark; two grandchildren, Deanthony Perry and Shericka Baker; and her aunt, Helen Mitchell.

She leaves to mourn her homegoing her children, Joe Ray (Tawanda) Perry, Joe Charles (Pamela) Perry, Sr. and Iola Williams of Osceola, Anna (James) Brown of Blytheville; one brother, Anthony Clark of St. Louis, Mo.; one sister, Carol Ann Clark of St. Louis, Mo.; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; her aunt, Irene Mitchell of Blytheville; a host of other relatives and many friends.
