Jeff Stribling, 88, of Blytheville, passed away Friday, Jan. 1, 2021, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital in Murray, Ky.

Jeff was born in Marks, Miss., to Joe and Lora May Stribling. He was the owner and operator of Jeff’s Battery Shop and was a member of Armorel Baptist Church. Jeff served his country with honor in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Jeff loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and vacationing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lula Mae Stribling; his parents; and infant daughter, Bonnie.

Jeff leaves three children, Diana Warren and her husband Thomas of Murray, Ky., Kerry Stribling and his wife Angela of Shannon, Miss., and Deborah Ballew and her husband George of Evening Shade; two brothers, Harold Stribling of Cabot and Joe Stribling of Water Valley, Miss.; two sisters, Maxine Coleman of Cabot and Pearlie Sue Noggle of Vilonia; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Jan. 8, at 11:30 a.m. at Yellow Leaf Cemetery in Oxford, Miss., with Rev. Steve Franklin officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 4-7 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home. Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, no more than 50 people will be allowed to gather inside of Cobb Funeral Home and practice social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance between one another. Face masks are required to enter the building and to be worn at all times.
