Lucy Mae Della Bornds

Lucy Mae Della Bornds, 70, of Osceola, died Dec. 22, 2020, at her home. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem MB Church in Osceola. Miss Bornds was born July 28, 1950, in Osceola to Mae Catherine Bornds. She was preceded in death by one brother, Wilbert Thomas; one sister, Diane Hunter; and one grandchild, Amarion Bornds.

She is survived by her mother, Mae Catherine Hunter of Chicago, Ill.; one son, Alton Bornds, Sr. (Yolanda) of Osceola; two brothers, Michael Hunter and Marvin Hunter (Terri) of Chicago, Ill.; five sisters, Phyllis Hunter, Mary Applewhite Bradley (Bruce), Marketa Hunter Wilson, Elisa Dee (Lester) and LaTasha Hunter of Chicago, Ill.; four grandchildren, Alton Bornds, Jr., Kemiya Bornds, Armon Bornds and A'mya Bornds.

Visitation will be Sunday, Jan. 3, from 5-7 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral will be Monday, Jan. 4, at 1 p.m. at Bethlehem MB Church in Osceola. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola with Dr. Moses Black officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
