Margie Nadine Langley, 93, of Ash Flat, Arkansas and formerly of Blytheville, passed away Monday, December 21, 2020 at her home.

Margie was born in Yarbro to Charlie and Fronia McDaniels Reams. She retired from managing the Sands Restaurant. Margie lived in Blytheville from birth until moving to Ash Flat in 1991. Margie was a member of Highland Hills Baptist Church. She worked in the public all of her life. In the 60s, Margie worked at the Ole Hickory where everyone knew her. All of the teenagers called her “Momma Langley” and continued to do so until her death.

Margie was preceded in death by her husband, I.J. Langley, Jr.; her parents; two brothers, Lester and Willie Reams; and three sisters, Edith Hyde, Louise Hyde and Geraldine Wallace.

Margie leaves her daughter, Debbie Moore and her husband Jim of Ash Flat; two granddaughters, Tiffany McCord and her husband Noble of Hart and Misti Rush and her husband David of Ash Flat; four great-grandchildren, Kenzie Smith and her husband Wacey of Ash Flat, Matty McCord of Hart, Zak Rush of Jonesboro and Rani Rush of Ash Flat; and one great- great-granddaughter, Bristol Smith of Ash Flat.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 23rd from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home. There will be a private family service. Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, no more than 50 people will be allowed to gather inside of Cobb Funeral Home and practice social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance between one another.
