Lucille Warren

Lucille Warren, 101, of Blytheville, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2020, at Harris Healthcare in Osceola.

Lucille was born in Jackson, Tenn., to Ulcie and Myrtle Hudson Hickerson. She was a former employee of Rice Stix and Neil’s Flower Shop. Lucille was a member of First Baptist Church in Etowah and was very active in church all of her life. She was minister’s wife and was married to Rev. W.G. “Willie the Welder” Warren for 62 years. She was an excellent quilter and loved to cook. She especially loved to cook and fellowship with people from her church. Lucille was a second mother to all of her nieces and nephews and was always so motherly to her family.

Lucille’s family would like to give a special thanks to her caregiver, Bo McCollum.

She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents; brother, Ulcie Hickerson; and sisters, Bessie Keil, Elizabeth Ganno, Elsie Smith and Jimmie Dee McLellan.

Lucille leaves her brother, Billy Hickerson of Humboldt, Tenn.; 15 nieces and nephews that loved her dearly; and her caregiver, Bo McCollum of Etowah.

Graveside services will be held Friday, Dec. 4, at 10 a.m. at Center Cemetery in Edison, Tenn. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
