Floyd Junior Crews of Jonesboro departed this life Saturday, Nov. 7, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro at the age of 69 years 5 months and 29 days. He was born Wednesday, May 9, 1951, in Muskegon, Mich., and moved to Jonesboro a year ago and was formerly of Wynne. Floyd retired from the Housing Authority in Brinkley and was a member of Calvary Apostolic Church in Wynne and attended Sanctuary Church while in Jonesboro. Floyd’s hobbies were fishing, woodwork and playing the drums and bass. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend Hughes Elmer and Gladys Melton Crews.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Sylvia Bundren Crews of the home; one son, Floyd Crews III of Jonesboro; one daughter, Regina Rutledge of Winter Park, Fla.; one brother, Willie Crews of Wilmington, Ill.; one sister Joyce Ann Crews Flowers of Forrest City; three grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.

Memorial services were Nov. 14 at Calvary Apostolic Church in Wynne with Reverends John Ison and Kenneth O’Connell officiating. In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing and face masks were required along with signing of a COVID-19 form.
