Phyllis Pearl Wilkins

Phyllis Pearl Wilkins of Trumann departed this life on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020, at the family residence at the age of 70 years, 5 months and 20 days. She was born Sunday, May 14, 1950, in Leachville and moved to Trumann four years ago and was formerly of St. Louis, Mo.  Phyllis was a homemaker and a member of Friendship Assembly of God Church.  She was preceded by one brother, Neal Cook and her parents, Howard and Olive Pennington Keith.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Dennis Wilkins of the home; three sons, Dennis Wilkins, II of Stanton, Mo., Thomas Wilkins of St. Louis, Mo. and Shawn Wilkins of Knoxville, N.C.; two brothers, Jimmy (Sandra) Webb of Festus, Mo. and Newty (June) Webb of Englewood, Fla.; one sister, Julie Ann (Troy) Skaggs of Englewood, Fla.; five grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life was Nov. 6 at Friendship Assembly of God Church in Jonesboro with Reverend John Mankins officiating.  Burial followed in Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland. Pallbearers were Dennis Wilkins, Thomas Wilkins, Niklaus Wilkins, Thomas E. Wilkins and Ryan Harod. In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing was required along with face masks and the signing of a COVID-19 form will be required.
