Katlyn Cole

Katlyn Cole of Trumann departed this life on Thursday, Sept. 24, 2020, at the family residence at the age of 26 years, 11 months and 12 days. She was born Wednesday, Oct. 13, 1993 in Jonesboro and was a lifetime resident of Trumann. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. Katlyn loved playing softball with her kids, floating on the river and music and art.

She is survived by one son, Lucas Owen Reeves of the home; two daughters, Lacey Mae Reeves and Jaci Shay Reeves, both of the home; her mother, Paula Cole of Trumann; her father, Isidoro (Ludivina) Santos, Sr. of Lepanto; three brothers, Cody Cruz of Payneway, Jake Cruz of Marked Tree, and Isidoro Santos, Jr. of Lepanto; three sisters, Erica (Dewayne) Cockrell of Trumann, Angelica Santos, and Edith Santos, both of Lepanto; grandparents, Connie Davis of Trumann, and Leroy and Barbara Cole of Harrisburg; great-grandmother, Katherine Davis of Trumann; and two nephews, Gage and Noah Golden.

A Celebration of Life was Oct. 6 in the chapel of Thompson Funeral Home with Reverend Jimmy Stone officiating. Burial followed in Holly Springs Cemetery in Harrisburg. Pallbearers were Timothy Coffey, Cody Cruz, Jake Cruz, Teddy Reeves, Randy Cockrell, and Brandon Hensley. Honorary pallbearers were Dewayne Cockrell, Mark Williams, Waggy Wagner, Bobby Brown, William Cole and Andrew Campbell. In compliance with COVID-19 restrictions, social distancing and face masks were followed along with signing of a COVID-19 form.
