Jorena Pearl Ham

Jorena Pearl Ham, 80, of Jonesboro, former longtime Leachville resident, passed from this life Saturday, Sept. 26, 2020, at the Springs of Jonesboro. Born Jan. 5, 1940, to the late Opie and Opal Wilson Russell, she was a 1958 graduate of Leachville High School. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Timothy John "TJ" Ham and David Joe Ham; one grandson, Jesse Milton Ham; brother-in-law, Skip Hall; and the father of her children, Luther David Ham.

She is survived by one son, Daniel Ham and his wife Celena of Tupelo, Miss.; her brother, Johnny Russell of Fredricktown, Mo.; her sister, Janice Hall of Lake City; daughter-in-law, Erika Ham of Filderstadt, Germany; six granddaughters, Jessica Barker (Aaron) of Manila, Jennifer Ham (Will) of Tupelo, Stephanie Ham and Tabitha Ham both of Shelbyville, Ky., Saundra Dargitz of Leutershausen, Germany, and Denise Dargitz of Jacksonville, Fla. She also leaves three great-grandchildren, Desarae, Aaron, Jr. and Justin.

Arrangements are under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all services are private.
