Oscar Perez

Oscar Perez, 58, of Leachville, passed from this life Sunday, Sept. 20, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born and raised in Rio Bravo, Mexico, he was the son of the late Jesus Perez Garcia and Juanita De Leon Rodriguez and had been a Leachville resident since 1999. He was employed by Miller Farms and of the Catholic faith. Oscar enjoyed grilling, spending time with his family and working in his yard and garden.

He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Sylvia Becerra Perez of the home; three sons, Oscar Ivan Perez, Edgardo Daniel Perez and Andy Perez, all of Leachville; three brothers, Juan Perez of Reynosa, Mexico, Manuel Perez of Ft. Worth, Texas and Jose Perez of Leachville; four sisters, Margarita Perez and Sylvia Perez, both of Reynosa, Mexico, Maria Perez of Pharr, Texas, and Trinity Perez of Reynosa, Mexico. He also leaves four grandchildren, Victor Perez, David Perez, Gabriella Perez and Ezequiel Perez.
