Robbie May Stone

Robbie May Stone, 90, of Manila, widow of Mr. Theodore Stone, passed from this life Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. Born and raised in Manila, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Irene Hale Holt and was of the Baptist faith. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking for her family, fishing, working puzzle books and spending time with her dog. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers; one son, Lee Roy Stone; one daughter, Mary Stone; one granddaughter, Elizabeth Perkins; one grandson, Jessie Stone; and one great-grandson, Keaton Sharp.

Survivors include five sons, Bill Stone, Danny Stone, Nickey Stone, Jimmy Dale Stone and Tony Stone all of Manila; three daughters, Glenda Bolt of Manila, Ruby Zell of Caraway and Betty Sharp of Manila; one sister, Shirley Stone of Manila. She also leaves 22 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside funeral services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 8, in the Manila Cemetery with the Rev. Graig Stull officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila. The family will receive visitors Tuesday from noon until 12:30 at the funeral home. In compliance with state guidelines, limited attendance, face masks must be worn and social distancing must be practiced at all times.
