Bernice Neal, 87, of Osceola, died Aug. 26, 2020, at SMC Regional Medical Center in Osceola. She was a retired beautician, member of Pilgrim Rest MB Church and Motherboard in Osceola. Ms. Neal was born Aug. 18, 1933, in Wilson to Clarence and Emma Branch Parker, Sr. She was preceded in death by her parents, seven brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by three sons, Paul Tucker (Diane) of Valdosta, Ga., Spencer Coleman (Theresa) of California and Ronnie Coleman (Keyshawn) of Los Angeles, Calif.; six daughters, June McBride and Georgia Neal of Osceola, Janice Washington of Little Rock, Wilma Ambrose of Converse, Texas, Gwin James and Donna Holman (Walter) of Houston, Texas; four sisters, Louise Parker-Wicks of St. Louis, Mo., Addie "Beatrice" Wyrick of Tucson, Ariz., Orma Jean Harris of Chicago, Ill., and Lucille Smith of Osceola; 23 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 3, at Pilgrim Rest MB Church in Osceola. Burial is at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette with Pastor Cleveland Cain officiating. Wilson funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
