Rosemary Hamilton, 64, of Manila, passed away Aug. 19, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. We find comfort in knowing she had given her heart to Jesus, was baptized in the name of Jesus and made peace with him and her family. When she was able, she attended Church of the Lord Jesus Christ on Costner Road.
Rose was a wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She was hilarious, warm, fearless, and resilient. Rose shared over 45 years of marriage with her high school sweetheart, soulmate, and best friend Gary Hamilton. She loved her dog Zeba and horses. One of her favorite memories was Koehler Blankenship bringing a saddle and bridle and allowing her to ride his horses in the pasture.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lovie "Red" and Gladys (Griffin) Cooper; her brother-in-law and sister, Donald and Gladys Whitehead; her father-in-law, Frank Hamilton and brothers-in-law, Danny Hamilton and Robert Hamilton.
Rose is survived by her husband, Gary Hamilton of Manila; two sons, Michael (Chrystal) Hamilton of Trumann and Jeff (Miranda) Hamilton of Manila; three grandchildren, Harleigh Ivy Hamilton of Trumann, Noah Allen Hamilton and Emma Claire Hamilton, both of Manila; mother-in-law, Corine (Jackie) Shrable. She also leaves behind several loving nieces and nephews and a host of longtime
