Mary Isabell Clem, “Mamabell”, daughter of the late Willo Maddox and William Andrew Lemons, was born April 22, 1922, in Florence, Ala.

Mamabell was a devoted member of the Lepanto Church of Christ Church. As a result of her generous spirit and loving personality, she was loved by many. Her Christian life was as beautiful as the flowers that she loved so well, and her influence will forever remain in the lives of all who knew her. She treasured her family and loved celebrating the traditions of holidays and birthdays with all. She quietly departed this life Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Murray Clem; three sisters, Lois Morrow, Des Clem and Oska Potter; three brothers, William “Buddy” Lemons, Billy Joe Lemons and Ray Lemons; and a grandson-in-law, Larry Egbert.

Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her children, Billie Williams (Jimmy) of Marion and Mike Clem of Millington, Tenn.; five grandchildren, Diana Lugar (Robbie), Pam Betts, Lori Egbert, Jimmy Don Williams, Jr. (Cynthia), John Michael Clem (Samantha); seven great-grandchildren, Dr. Emily Jayne Lugar, Dr. Hanna Renee Smith (Drew), Sara Betts, Jimmy Don Williams III, Jack Williams, Lillian Williams and Ella Egbert; brother, Wayne Lemons of San Juan Capistrano, Calif.; and a host of devoted nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and caregivers.

Funeral services were held Aug. 15 at Delancey-Murphy Funeral Home in Lepanto. Interment followed at Potter Memorial Cemetery.
