Paul David Adams

Paul David Adams, 72, lifelong Milligan Ridge resident, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2020, at his home. Born in Manila to the late Nelson Wade and Mattie Ruth Reagan Adams, he was a lifelong area resident, a 1965 graduate of Manila High School, and had attended Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. Paul was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and was a recipient of the Bronze Star Medal for Valor. He was a postal police officer for over 30 years and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2002. Paul was a longtime member of the Milligan Ridge Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. George Adams; sister-in-law, Kaye Adams; and two nephews, Greg Adams and Gene Adams.

Survivors include three brothers, Robert Adams (Thelma) of Milligan Ridge, Harry Adams (Lynda) of Morgan City, Miss., and Jimmy (Connie) Adams of Manila.

Graveside funeral service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in the Manila Cemetery. Following state guidelines social distancing will be observed at all times. Burial will be under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Manila. Friends may sign the online guest register at www.HowardFuneralService.com.
