Linda Gail Davis Garner, 68, of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at NEA Baptist Hospital in Jonesboro.

Linda was born in Blytheville to Wesley and Winnie Carter Davis. She was a retired cafeteria worker and bus driver for Ocean Springs Schools in Mississippi. Linda enjoyed reading, cooking, crafting and scrapbooking. She was a great cook and made an awesome shrimp gumbo. She was always up for adventures and enjoyed going on road trips with her sisters and cousins. Linda adored her family and loved her husband, son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren to the moon and back.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Robert Earl Davis; sister, Margaret Davis; two nephews; and one great-nephew.

Linda leaves her husband, John of the home; son, Jeff Heath, and his wife Michelle of Olive Branch, Miss.; brothers, Wesley Davis, and his wife Kelly, Joe Davis, and his wife Cheri, and Donald Davis, and his wife Sharon, all of Gosnell; sisters, Maxine Blankenship, Betty Hadden, and her husband Lyle, Brenda Davis, and sister-in-law, Gail Davis, all of Gosnell; grandchildren, Dylan, Paige and Logan of Olive Branch, Miss.; 17 nieces and nephews, 35 great-nieces and nephews; and 13 great-great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Linda’s life will be held Thursday, July 23, at 10:30 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mitchell King, Jr. officiating. There will be no visitation. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.cobbfuneralhome.com.
