Terry Glenn Minyard, 67, of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, July 4, 2020, at his home.

Terry was born in Blytheville to R.D. and Joyce Hudson Minyard and was a graduate of Blytheville High School. He was retired from UPS and a member of Bethany Baptist Church. Terry loved playing his guitar and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Terry leaves his wife, Betty Walters Minyard of the home; three children, Phillip Minyard and his wife Kayla of Caruthersville, Bobby Johnson and his wife Leigh Ann of Van Cleve, Miss., and Leann Jones and her husband Joel of Senath, Mo.; his mother, Joyce Minyard Riley of Iuka, Miss.; one brother, Ed Minyard and his wife Ellen of Athens, Ala.; two sisters, Brenda Edmondson and her husband Neil of Iuka, Miss., and Judy Bowling and her husband Randy of Huntsville, Ala.; five grandchildren, Justin Jones and his wife Cecia, Logan Jones and his wife Allyson, Natalie McKittrick, Aubrey Dormer and Paisley Minyard; two great-grandchildren, Genesis Jones and Axel Jones; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Monday, July 6, at 11 a.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Neil Edmondson officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home. The family requests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or Bethany Baptist Church. Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines, no more than 100 people will be allowed to gather inside of Cobb Funeral Home at one time and practice social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance between one another.
