Blytheville School District offers virtual, traditional options to students

Wednesday, July 1, 2020

The Blytheville School District has come up with two reentry options for the 2020-2021 academic school year.

The first option consists of a traditional on-campus learning environment with safety guidelines outlined by the Arkansas Department of Health and the CDC.

The second option offers a full-time free virtual academy for students that are not comfortable returning to traditional learning methods.

This option requires each student to commit to a semester. The last day for students to apply for the Blytheville Public School Virtual Academy (BPSVA) is July 17.

Digital learning will be practiced in school with students using chromebooks in order to prepare them for continued learning at home, in case the need arises for school buildings to be closed down.
