Juanita Elizabeth Welch

Juanita Elizabeth Welch, 95, passed away Saturday, June 27, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center.

She was born April 3, 1925, in Monette to the late Bud and Fannie Huddleton. She had been a grade school teacher. Mrs. Welch had moved to Detroit for 42 years and came back to Monette in 1991. She enjoyed dressing nice and jewelry. She was a member of the Monette First Baptist Church.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Welch; son, Lloyd Lee Welch; and a niece, Vicki Redman.

She is survived by her son, Douglas Welch (Melissa) of Michigan; a sister, Martha Jo Kelley of Monette; a niece, Sharon Littlejohn; nephews, Mel Redman and Mickey Jo Littlejohn; six grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Lasting memorials may be sent to Little People of America or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
