Audran E. “Audie” Cavanaugh

Audran E. “Audie” Cavanaugh, 84, of Blytheville, passed away Monday, June 8, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Audie was born in Muskegon, Mich., to James and Myrtle Wood Cavanaugh. He was a retired insurance underwriter for Travelers Insurance and was a member of Gosnell Baptist Church. He served his country with honor in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. Audie and his wife Agnes loved to travel the United States and abroad.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes; his parents; one brother, Jack Cavanaugh; and three sisters, Sue Taylor, Arlene Cavanaugh and Pat Wadland; and two infant sisters.

Audie leaves his sister, Mary Doctor of Nashville, Tenn.; brother-in-law, Dewayne Taylor; numerous nieces and nephews; special friend, Sydney Seligstein of Memphis; and his caregiver, Diana Garner.

Graveside services will be held Friday, June 12, at 10:30 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery with Dr. Eddie Clemons officiating. There will be no visitation. Following the State of Arkansas COVID-19 guidelines for a graveside service: practice social distancing, keeping a 6-foot distance between one another.
