Judith Ann Parker

Judith Ann Parker, 72, of Monette, died Saturday, May 23, 2020, at the Arkansas Continued Care Hospital of Jonesboro. Born and raised in Cardwell, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Sanford Alton and Imogene Harkey Southard and had attended Cardwell Public Schools. She was a longtime employee of Frolic Footwear in Monette and also owned and operated her own clothing store in Cardwell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Scotty Ray Parker; a brother, Donnie Southard; and the father of her children, Lloyd Parker. 

Survivors include one son, Shane Allen Parker and his wife, Wendy, of Jonesboro; daughter-in-law, Debbie Mangrum of Paragould; one sister, Sandra Pierce of Cardwell, Mo.; two grandchildren, Andrea Bullinger and Shane Tyler Parker; three great-grandchildren, Josilyn McCollum, Dominick Chamberlain, and Kiley Bullinger; one nephew, Jared Southard; one niece, Summer Friedman; one great-niece, Kinsley Anna Southard. She also leaves a special friend and caregiver, Mark Prince.

Graveside funeral service will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Cardwell Cemetery with Mark Wheeler officiating. In following the State of Arkansas Covid-19 guidelines the family has asked those in attendance to practice social distancing at all times. Burial will be under the direction of Howard Funeral Service of Leachville.
