Laura Gaye Welch Duck

Laura Gaye Welch Duck, 59, of Bassett died May 11, 2020 in Wilson. She was a factory worker and of the Baptist faith. Ms. Duck was born July 17, 1960, in Beaumont, Texas, to Vernon Lee and Tanna Laura Elder Welch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Tanna Welch; two sisters, Patricia Ann Welch and Kimberly Irene Westbrook.

She is survived by one son, Jason (Maci) Jones of Paragould; two daughters, Bobbie LeAnn Jones of Osceola and Tanna Genois Smusz of Georgetown, Ky.; her special companion, Michael Hood of Bassett; four brothers, Terry (Jody) Welch and Steve (Diana) Welch of Bassett, Vernon Lee (Teresa) Welch of Marmaduke and Paul David (Donna) Welch of Wilson; one sister, Joyce Martin of Lancaster, S.C.; six grandchildren, Gracie Bennett, Joe-Louis Ralph, Jayden Ralph, Arlington Jones, Augustin Jones and Raylan Smusz.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 14, at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
