Manila water back on; boil order in effect

The city of Manila will be under a boil order for three days according to Joe Chipman, maintenance supervisor.

A six-inch water line on Highway 77 north of Beauchamp Corner was cut at approximately 2:30 p.m. Monday afternoon.

Manila crews worked throughout the night to make repairs. Water was restored early Tuesday morning but due to the fact the water had to be shut off, the boil order will be in effect for several days.
