De’ Anthony Jermaine Perry, known as The King of Host, was born Dec. 29, 1986, in Blytheville to Anna Perry Brown and Hossie Woods. He departed this life on Tuesday, April 28, 2020, at his home in Blytheville at the age of 33. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Rosie Woods, and grandfather, Joe Charles Perry Sr.

De’ Anthony was a man of many trades and skills. He was an awesome cook, nail tech, script writer, an amazing husband, son, father, brother, uncle and friend, he attended Blytheville High School and graduated from Gosnell High School.

De’ Anthony leaves to cherish his memories, his wife Destiny Perry; one son Kayden Logan Perry; one daughter, Kyndall Elise Steele, all of Gosnell; his mother and stepfather, Anna(Earl) Perry Brown of Blytheville; his father, Hossie (Connie) Woods of Milwaukee, Wis.; two sisters, DeMira Hister of Osceola and De Anna Perry of Blytheville; two brothers, Deveontae Perry of Blytheville and Antonio Woods of Luxora; his grandmother, Gloria Clark Perry of Osceola; a close friend, Ny Nguyen; his godparents, Tony and Linda Nguyen; a play aunt, Rita Gillespie, all of Blytheville; a godmother, Pamela Perry of Osceola; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Saturday, May 9, from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at True Light M.B. Church, 1100 S. Lilly, Blytheville. Service will follow at the church at noon. Burial will be immediately after the service at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette.

In compliance with CDC, the Governor and Arkansas Funeral Directors Associations, due to the COVID-19 VIRUS, all public gathering of more than 10 people held indoors are prohibited.
