Bobby Vernon

Bobby Vernon, 73, of Blytheville, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Bobby was born in Blytheville to Carol and Lola May Smith. She worked as a custodian at Arkansas Northeastern College for 21 years. Bobby was a lifelong area resident and was of the Pentecostal faith. Bobby enjoyed watching QVC t.v. and loved gardening. Her garden was decorated with statues that were gifts from family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Luke Smith, Monroe Smith and Joe Smith.

Bobby is survived by her husband, Phillip Vernon of the home; son, Quinton Vernon and fiancee Marie of Blytheville; daughter, Leslie Vernon of Fort Wayne, Ind.; sisters, Nelly McMore and Bernice Fricks, both of Gosnell; daughter-in-law, Tracey Vernon of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Little Quinton and Tiffany Vernon of Jonesboro and Braden Seth Vernon and Emily Vernon of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and a host of nieces and nephews.
