T.C. Miller, Jr., 59, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020, at Sinai Grace Hospital, Detroit, Mich. Mr. Miller will lay in state in the Chapel of Lawrence E. Moon Funeral Home, 906 W. Flint Park Blvd., Saturday, April 25, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Social distancing was honored. Mr. Miller was then be taken to Wilson Funeral Home, 1020 S. Division St., Blytheville, (870) 763-2547. A graveside service will be held Saturday, May 2, at 10 a.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Blytheville.

T.C. Miller, Jr. was born March 7, 1961, in Earle, Ark., to Mr. and Mrs. T.C. (Betty) Miller, Sr. He grew up in Memphis, Tenn., and then as a teenager, his family moved to Flint, Mich., in September of 1976. T.C. attended Flint Northern High School. During his work life, Mr. Miller worked multiple years as an employee of the Flint Journal newspaper, and then several years as a chef and primary cook for multiple organizations. Culinary arts were his sincere pleasures and lifelong passion. T.C. was retired at the time of his passing. Mr. Miller accepted Christ at an early age in his life. He held to his Christian faith to the very end. T.C. grew up singing in multiple gospel choirs in the city of Memphis, Tenn., and Flint, Mich.

He was proceeded in death by his mother, Evangelist Betty Lee Owens, of Grand Blanc, Mich.

He is survived by his children, Chevonne (Chad) Lowing, of Ypsilanti, Mich., and Tony (Adrianne)) Miller of North Shores, Mich. He is also survived by four siblings, Mark (Rebecca) Miller of Grand Blanc, Mich., Catherine Miller of Grand Blanc, Mich., Orlando Miller of Detroit, Mich., and Seteria Miller of Memphis, Tenn. He is also survived by three wonderful grandchildren, Lucas, Cole, Rose; special friend Velma Hicks, and a host of favorite aunts, uncles, and other relatives and friends survive.
