Demarcus Deanthony Daniels “Dmark”

Demarcus Deanthony Daniels “Dmark” was born Jan. 10, 1993, in Blytheville to Tonya Jones and Anthony Daniels. As a child he attended New Galilee Missionary Baptist Church in Burdette under the leadership of Reverend LeRoy Nash. Demarcus was a graduate of Blytheville High School and was well known and loved by his classmates. He never met a stranger but most importantly, he was a loving son, grandson, brother, father and friend. Living life to its fullest, he loved to travel, sports and good food. 

Demarcus passed away unexpectedly Saturday, April 25, 2020, at the age of 27. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Edmond Jones and Johnny Dillard, Sr., future father-in-law, Richard Coleman, and his bonus mother, Monie Daniels.  

He leaves to cherish his memories his fiancee, Skynisha Coleman of the home; his beloved children, NaKyra Robinson, Jaceyon Coleman and D’Mari Daniels all of the home; his parents, Johnny and Tonya Dillard of Gosnell Anthony and Stacie Reed of Blytheville; sisters, Johneshia Dillard, Terika Dillard, both of Blytheville, and Daysha Hodges of Jonesboro; stepsisters, Sharon Jackson, Lakeisha Jackson and Latoya Jackson, all of Blytheville; grandparents, Inita Jones of Blytheville, Joyce Lee Dillard of Gosnell, Julius Snead of Gosnell, Rose Heard of Osceola, Eugene Wilson of Blytheville; future mother-in-law, Charlene Dunn of Blytheville; and future brother-in-law, Lashadrick (Candace) Dunn, also of Blytheville; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews cousins and friends. 

A private Celebration of Life Service will be held Monday, May 4, at 12:00 noon in the chapel of McDonald-Horne Funeral Home for immediate family only. Reverend LeRoy Nash will deliver the eulogy with burial at Gethsemane Gardens Cemetery. 

We are asking everyone attending these services to practice social distancing and to wear masks to prevent the spread of COVID-19.   

McDonald-Horne Funeral Home is in charge of all services and arrangements.
