MCHS now offering COVID-19 testing

To better serve the local communities, Mississippi County Hospital System has started offering out-patient COVID-19 testing at Great River Medical Center in Blytheville.

“The process will be held by appointment only”, explained MCHS CEO Chris Raymer.

Patients are encouraged to first visit their primary care physician to assess symptoms. If after an initial screening further testing is recommended, or if a patient does not have a primary doctor, patients can then call the MCHS COVID-19 Hotline at 870-838-7326 to schedule an appointment.

Raymer also welcomes local industries and businesses that wish to schedule time blocks for employee serum testing appointments.

Those arriving for their scheduled appointments will utilize the main hospital entrance off of Division Street, which will be exclusive to COVID-19 testing patients.

All other emergency or regular traffic will continue to be directed through the emergency room entrance.

Testing time slots are available Monday through Thursday between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
