Mace also mentioned the Class of 2020 in the letter, "To the class of 2020, as we go through these unprecedented/ trying times, you have led this school in such a positive way. Your ability to carry on has helped us all to develop resilience. Seniors who have met the requirements to graduate and are in good standing are finished with all coursework. We will contact you individually to inform you of your standing."

"All students K-11 will continue with AMI plans through the remainder of the year," the letter reads. "Teachers will be communicating with each student to evaluate work and give feedback. Feel free to communicate with any and all personnel needed."

The letter continues, "We know that there are many questions still out there in relationship to Chromebooks, yearbooks, grades, and normal last nine weeks items. We will continue to communicate at all levels to establish guidelines to answer these questions.

“I wish to end by saying that first and foremost: Be safe!! Take care of your families and do you best with any remaining work. 'The Pirate family will work through this and we will come out stronger.'"
