Laterica Heard

Laterica Heard was born July 11, 1981 in Blytheville to Margaret Mayberry and the late Loyd Anderson, Sr. She departed this life on Wednesday April 1, 2020, at St. Bernards Hospital in Jonesboro. She was preceded in death by her father Loyd Anderson, Sr. and her grandparents.

Laterica graduated from Blytheville High Class of “99”, then went to ANC and received her Associate Degree and continued on to Arkansas State University and got her Bachelors Degree and proceeded to Memphis State and received her Masters.

Laterica leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Terrance Heard of Blytheville; four children, Earnest Williams and Jaylen Heard, both of Blytheville, Onteria Cunningham of Memphis, Tenn., and Ladarius Heard of Jackson, Miss.; her parents, Margaret and Bishop John Mayberry of Blytheville. She also leaves to cherish her memories eight brothers, Lloyd Anderson , Eric Anderson, Marcus Mayberry, Marcus Anderson, all of Blytheville, Loyd Anderson of Jonesboro, Shaquille Anderson, Schiavone Anderson and Quan Young all of Dallas, Texas; four sisters, Rachel Smith of Dallas, Texas; Seven Anderson of Coleman, Ala., Shawnta Robinson and Angelica Taylor of Blytheville; her god children, Jeremiah Daniel, Kaylen Diamond and Ava Lockhart; along with a host of nieces, nephews, aunts uncles, cousins and friends. A special thanks to her support team.

Visitation was held Friday, April 3, from 5-7 p.m. at Eternal Salvation Church. Service will be Saturday, April 4, at Eternal Salvation Church at 1 p.m. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Cemetery in Blytheville.

In compliance with CDC, the Governor and Arkansas Funeral Directors Associations, due to the COVID-19 virus, all public gatherings of more than 10 people held indoors are prohibited. Visitation and funerals will be held for immediate family members only. This directive is enforceable by Law.
