Charles Baugus

Charles Baugus, 90, of Wilson, died March 20, 2020, at his home. He was a retired factory worker, a Korean War Army veteran and of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Baugus was born March 9, 1930, in Manila, to Charlie and Ethel McCoy Baugus. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Josephine Baugus; one daughter, Eva Faulkenberry; three brothers, William Henry Baugus, Leonard Baugus and Bill Baugus; four sisters, Ruby George, Goldie Dehart, Rosie Dehart and Martha Tipton; three grandchildren, Scotty Faulkenberry, Tina Chancery and Shayne Chancery.

He is survived by one daughter, Debbie Chancery of Osceola; one brother, Floyd (Kathryn) Baugus of Wilson; one sister, Violet Hurley of Manila; two grandchildren, Bobby Lynn Chancery and Joey Faulkenberry; five great-grandchildren, Cheyenne Chancery, Gabrielle Chancery, Tyler Chancery, Nicholas Chancery and Sean Chancery; one great-great-grandchild, Addyson Chancery.

Graveside services were 2 p.m. Sunday, March 22, at Manila Cemetery with Bro. James England officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola was in charge.
