Effie Sanders

Effie Sanders, 83, of Blytheville, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Gosnell Therapy and Living Center.

Effie was born in Yarbro to Lee and Mable Johnson Lambert. She attended Gosnell Baptist Church and was a lifelong area resident. Effie loved books and enjoyed reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Doyal Wade “D.W.” Sanders; her parents; one daughter, Brenda Kelley; one brother, John Lambert; and four sisters, Lindell Lambert, Martha Decanter, Mary Lois Lambert and Dorothy Gresham.

Effie leaves her daughter, Anita Pate and her husband Gary of Gosnell; four grandchildren, Amber Cross of Nashville, Tenn., Megan Pate of Brandon, Miss., Jason Barnes of Gosnell and Tiffany Barnes of Dyersburg, Tenn.; and six great-grandchildren.
