Nathan Campbell, Jr., 96, of Luxora, died March 14, 2020, at SMC Regional Medical Center in Osceola. He was a Navy veteran, retired farmer and of the Baptist faith. Mr. Campbell was born May 18, 1923, in Armorel to Nathan and Lucy White. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Clara Mae Campbell; three sons, Baron Campbell, Alvin Mallard and Nathan Campbell III; two daughters, Deborah Whiteside and Bernice Campbell Smith; four sisters, Beverly Richardson, Lottie White, Lucille White and Pecolia Diggs.

He is survived by three sons, Ricky Campbell and Lloyd Campbell of Luxora and Curtis Campbell, Sr. of Lithonia, Ga.; three daughters, Joyce Ann Hopkins and Louise Ellen Campbell of West Memphis and Mary Joyce Hunt of Luxora; one sister, Sadie White of Chicago, Ill.; 35 grandchildren; a host of great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, March 21, from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral at 2 p.m. at Zion Chapel MB Church in Luxora. Burial will be at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdett with Rev. Melvin Taylor officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
