Louisia Boyce

Louisia Boyce was born Aug. 2, 1941, to James Smothers and Lemmie Smothers in Luxora. She departed this life on Thursday, March 12, 2020, at NEA Hospital in Jonesboro the age of 78. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Ms. Boyce leaves to cherish his memories seven daughters, Rosetta Miller and Sandra Pugh, both of West Memphis, Pauline Jones of Birmingham, Ala., Margaret Bird of Atlanta, Ga., Loretta Rubin of Osceola, Diane Diggs and Melissa Winford, both of Luxora; five sons, James Thomas of Conway, Odell Hood of Key Largo, Fla., Mark Thomas of Luxora, Isaac Thomas and Kevin Thomas, both of Osceola; 52 grandchildren, 76 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great- grandchildren, and a host of other family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, March 22, from 1 p.m. until 1:55 p.m., and service will follow at 2 p.m., at Zion Chapel in Luxora. Burial will follow at Luxora Cemetery, in Luxora.
