Larry Robert Broughman, Sr.

Larry Robert Broughman, Sr., 61, of Luxora, died March 16, 2020, at SMC Medical Center in Osceola. He was a retired farmer and of the Pentecostal faith. Mr. Broughman was born Jan. 27, 1959, in Osceola to Doctor "Doc" Dabe and Myrtle Loraine Balls Broughman. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Doc Broughman and James Broughman; and one sister, Melinda Kelly.

He is survived by his wife, Rebecca Broughman of Luxora; three sons, Larry Broughman, Jr., Phillip Broughman and Steven Broughman of Luxora; three daughters, Jennifer Broughman and Myrtle Broughman of Luxora and Rebecca Avery of Sikeston, Mo.; two brothers, Gary Broughman and Michael Broughman of Keiser; three sisters, Lisa Robertson and Sherry Shepherd of Grenada, Miss., and Barbara Linley of Keiser; 12 granchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 19, from 1-2 p.m. with the funeral at 2 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola. Burial will be at Sandy Ridge Cemetery in Burdette, with Bro. Gary Andrews officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
