Terry Ann (Evans) Edwards Russell, 73, of Bella Vista, formerly of Blytheville, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2020, at Northwest Medical Hospital, Bentonville. Terry was born in Blytheville to Joseph Byrn and Ruth Dillahunty Evans. Terry spent all her life in Blytheville until moving to Bella Vista in 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents and her previous husband Harold Edwards.

Terry leaves her husband, Lloyd “Buddy” Russell of Bella Vista; two sons, Jim Edwards of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Jarrod Edwards of Albuquerque, N.M.; one brother, Joe Evans, and one sister, Dona Chapman, of Bella Vista; two stepsons, Lloyd (Chip) Russell, III, of Etowah and Eric Jackson of Branson, Mo., and stepdaughter Kimberley Russell Kelley of Fairhope; Ala., seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two nephews and a niece.

Terry was an active member of First Presbyterian Church, Blytheville. She served as Clerk of Session, Session member, and participated in Women of the Church and Women’s Bible Study.

Terry was a 1965 graduate of Blytheville High School. Terry worked 25 years as a professional realtor and broker. She worked with Crye-Leike Realtors in Blytheville and Bella Vista. She was a member of the Blytheville Board of Realtors. Terry served on the Northeast Arkansas Red Cross Board of Directors, was president of Junior Auxiliary, a member of the Blytheville Chamber of Commerce, Blytheville Leadership Institute, Lions Club, Master Gardener, Blytheville Booster Club, and PEO Chapter BL – Bella Vista, PEO Chapter CI – Blytheville.

Terry had a loving and special group of life-long friends in The Thursday Night Bridge Club. Terry loved hosting activities for friends and family, and preparing fabulous home cooked meals for all family holidays. Terry enjoyed needlepoint, smocking, crochet, and knitting, was an avid reader, and enjoyed her bridge and canasta groups. She found great joy from so many varied activities like cooking hamburgers for the pre-game high school football team or being a volunteer children’s story reader at the elementary school.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. and the memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 7, in the sanctuary of the First Presbyterian Church, Blytheville.
