Ethan William Martin

Ethan William Martin, 15, son of Mark and Jennifer Martin of Armorel, passed from this life Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020 at his home.

Ethan was born in Blytheville and was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Church. He was a student at Armorel Junior High School where he played basketball and ran track. Ethan was an avid sports fan and his favorite NBA team was the Boston Celtics. Ethan enjoyed playing video games and posting “dank memes” on social media. Ethan loved animals, especially his beloved cat, Nala. Ethan was always the jokester and the comedian. He loved to make everyone laugh. Ethan enjoyed spending time with his friends and his cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Virginia “Ginny” Gould Martin and Richard and Madge Thieme Frazer; and uncles, Eugene Rivers Ford, Chris Gould Martin; and cousin, Stephen Richard Walter Knott.

Ethan leaves his parents, Mark and Jennifer of Armorel; sisters, Lauren Ashley Martin and Grace Anna Martin, both of Armorel; grandfather, William “Bill” Harrison Martin and his wife Lillie of Waco, Texas; aunts and uncles, Marsha and Charles Morgan of Georgetown, Texas, Cathy and Randy Pigman of Tulsa, Okla., Debra Ford of Blytheville, Sherry Frazer Horton and Vick Horton of Mountain View, Jessica and Edd Eldridge III of Blytheville and Robert and Tracie Roe of Waco, Texas; great-aunt and uncles, Kenneth and Ruth Ann Frazer of Blytheville and Wayne Omillian of Blytheville; cousins, Robert Moran, Jay Moran Erin Miller, Rachel Pigman, James Pigman, Cassie and Matthew Rice, Jeremiah Knott, Timothy Knott, Shane and Sandra Horton, Sabrina Eldridge, Edd “Boobie” Eldridge IV, Chris Eldridge and Harris Eldridge; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 1, at 10:30 a.m. at Gospel Lighthouse Church with Rev. J.C. Seward and Rev. Carl Barfield officiating. Burial will follow in Frazer Family Cemetery in Hermondale, Mo. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-8 p.m. at Cobb Funeral Home.
