Joe M. Jolley of Bono passed away Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2020, at the age of 73, at his home in Bono. He lived in Blytheville as a child and teenager and also lived in McKinney, Texas, for many years, before retiring in Bono.

Joe was born in Blytheville on Nov. 8, 1946, to Luther Malcolm Jolley and Ruby “Joe” Levern Capwell Jolley. He was a retired, self-employed master carpenter, an avid reader and philosopher. He also enjoyed science fiction and computer gaming. He liked the outdoors and gardening – and loved his family. He was a good friend to one and all.

He was preceded in death by his father, “Malcolm,” and mother, Ruby, and by his nephew, Samuel Edward Thayer, Jr.

Joe leaves his sister, Karen Jolley Thayer (Sam); his brother, CB Jolley (Deby); and nephew, Christopher Brandon Jolley – all of Memphis, Tenn.
