Hattie Crenshaw

Hattie L. Crenshaw was born Feb. 28, 1929 in Como, Miss., to the late Robert and Lucy Young Orr. She was a retired factory worker of ACCO Controls, and a member of God’s Holy Temple & Churches in Blytheville. Mrs. Hattie passed away on Jan. 10, 2020, at StoneBridge Senior Living in Blytheville at the age of 90.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, W.T. Crenshaw; a son, Bobby Crenshaw; a great-granddaughter, Scherece Crenshaw; five brothers. Joe Lee Orr, Oliver Orr, Brodie Orr, G.C. Orr, and Robert Orr; and one sister, Joe Ella Orr-Walton.

She leaves to cherish her memories five sons, Rev. W.F (Allie B.) Crenshaw, Robert Crenshaw, both of Lansing, Mich., Randy (Sandra) Crenshaw of Blytheville, Wayne Crenshaw of Jonesboro and Calvin (Hattie) Crenshaw of Cincinnati, Ohio; six daughters, Virgie Crenshaw, Annette (Pete) Smith, Kathy Jones, and Diane (Justin) Austin, all of Lansing, Mich., Margaret Crenshaw of Phoenix, Ariz., and Sheila Crenshaw of Oklahoma City, Okla.; one sister, Dorothy Orr Holbert of Lansing, Mich.; 40 grandchildren, numerous great-grand and great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves a host of other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m, Friday, Jan 17, at God’s Holy Temple Church, 2065 S. Division, Blytheville.

Funeral service will be 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, at God’s Holy Temple in Blytheville, Bishop Randy Crenshaw, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Yarbro.
