Aleda Anderson

Aleda Anderson, 90, of St. Louis, Mo., and formerly of Blytheville, passed away Saturday, Dec. 28, 2019, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Aleda was born in Steele, Mo., to Ernest and Beulah Lewis Howard. She was a retired sewing machine operator from Serta-Royal Bedding Company and a former member of Trinity Baptist Church. Aleda loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie T. Anderson; her parents; two daughters, Linda Kay and Deborah Susan; and seven brothers, Levoy, Elmer, Buford, Arry, Larry, Joseph, Odean Howard.

Aleda leaves three children, Evelyn Goeke of St. Louis, Mo., Diana March of Dallas, Texas, and Julie Newport of St. Louis, Mo.; one brother, David Howard of St. Louis, Mo.; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 3, at 2 p.m. in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Welch officiating. Burial will be private. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time at Cobb Funeral Home.
