Gwendolyn Harrison, 87, of Jonesboro passed away Monday, Dec. 23, 2019, at the Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. Born at 40 & 8, Arkansas, she was a retired registered nurse and had worked in various areas of nursing during her career. She was a graduate of Arkansas State University College of Nursing, Jonesboro, was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Gosnell, and attended Nettleton Baptist Church, Jonesboro.

She was preceded in death by both parents, one sister, two brothers, a niece and a nephew.

Survivors include a sister and dear best friend, Joann Jarrett of Jonesboro; nephews, Ronald Watson of Lincolnwood, Ill., Herman Harrison (Shirley) of Columbia, Mo., Dylan Beale, and Nathan Taylor (Tellisa) of Blytheville and Greg Beale (Beverly); nieces, Melanie Powell (Mark) of Jonesboro, Debbie Holland (Ronnie) of Hendersonville, Tenn., Morgan McVay (David) of Springdale, Leigh Kemp of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Whitney Watson (Ryan) of Chicago, Ill., Kristy Gann (Kevin) and Angela King (Ray) of Atkins; and was Nana to Caitlyn, Gavin, and Lila McVay of Springdale.

The funeral service was 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, at Emerson Funeral Home with George Williamson officiating. Burial followed at 2 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville.
