Summer Arthia Whitfield

Summer Arthia Whitfield, 36, of Osceola, died Dec. 6, 2019, at Arkansas Continued Care Hospital in Jonesboro. She was a homemaker and a member of True Grace Gospel Church in Osceola. Miss Whitfield was born June 29, 1983, in Osceola to Luther and Emmie Lee Kelly Whitfield, Jr.

She was preceded in death by her mother Emmie Lee Whitfield.

She is survived by her father and stepmother, Luther and Emma Whitfield, Jr. of Osceola; her son, Jeremiah Jacobs of Osceola; three brothers, Luther Whitfield, III of Jonesboro, Frisco Whitfield of Osceola and Kevin Lewis (Desha) of Russellville.

Visitation will be Friday, Dec. 13, from 5-7 p.m. at True Grace Gospel Church in Osceola. Funeral will be Saturday, Dec. 14, at 10 a.m. at Pleasant Grove MB Church in Osceola. Burial is at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola with Pastor Gregory Baker officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
