Willie B. Forrest, 66, of Blytheville passed away at his home on Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, surrounded by his family. Willie B. was born Jan. 9, 1953 in Dell and was the son of Jake and Mattie Packard Forrest. He loved to spend time with his family and friends playing a hand of spades or a game of dominos. Willie B. was an easy-going guy with a quick wit and a warm smile. He was a past employee of Nucor Steel, retiring in February of 2012.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.

He leaves to cherish his memories one son, Donell Forrest of Little Rock; four daughters, LaToya (Anthony) Pringle of Apopka, Fla., LaTasha Forrest of Blytheville, Ciesha Adams of Dallas, Texas, and Shabreona Forrest also of Blytheville; one brother, Earnest (Catherine) Bell of Apopka, Fla.; two sisters, Dorothy Cherry of Apopka, Fla., and Birdie (Bishop Johnson) Stone of Blytheville; 14 grandchildren,two great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, at First Missionary Baptist Church, 600 East McHaney Street where Reverend Odale Jones is pastor. Elder Calvin Stone will deliver the eulogy and burial will follow at Gethsemane Gardens Cemetery.

A visitation was held Saturday, Dec. 7, at the church from beginning at 11 a.m until service time at 1 p.m.
