Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Perkins

Elizabeth Ann "Liz" Perkins, 48, of Manila, passed from this life Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019, at her home. Born in Osceola, she was the daughter of the late Jimmy Galloway and had been a lifelong Manila area resident. "Liz" was a 1989 graduate of Manila High School, had worked as a caregiver for the elderly and was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially playing in the dirt with her grandsons. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by one brother, James Galloway.

Survivors include her son, James Dylon Galloway of Jonesboro; two daughters, Whittney Ann Walker of Jonesboro and Magen Marie Walker of Gosnell; her mother, Glenda Bolt of Manila; two sisters, Deborah Ann Pearson of Covington, Tenn., and Becky Marie Hitchcock of Blytheville. She also leaves three grandsons, Carl Edward Hawkins, Melvin Hawkins and Carmelo Hawkins.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, at the Howard Funeral Service Chapel in Manila with Floyd Winstead officiating. The family will receive visitors Wednesday from 12:30 until service time.
