Bruce Ramsey, 52, of Blytheville passed away Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019, at Great River Medical Center. He was born July 22, 1967 in Cairo, Ill., and was the son of George and Dorothy Knowles Ramsey.

He was preceded in death his parents, three siblings, Robert Earl Battles, Maxcine Davis, and April Hill and one son, Bruce Ramsey, Jr.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Justine “Mookie” Ramsey of Cairo, Ill.; two sons, Brandon Ramsey of Cape Girardeau, Mo., and Biyae Ramsey of Cairo, Ill.; two daughters, Michelle Miller of Nashville, Tenn., and Britney Ramsey of Cairo, Ill.; eight brothers, John (Patricia) Battles of Blytheville, Arlester Hill of Blytheville, Walter (Angel) of Laverng, Tenn., George Dewayne Ramsey of Milwaukee, Wis., Lee Willie (Danielle) Ivy of Jackson, Mo.; James (Melissa) Ramsey, Carl Ramsey, and Jeffery Ramsey; six sisters, Rose Taylor of Milwaukee, Wis., Linda (Richard) Moore of Blytheville, Brenda Holmes of Blytheville; Annie (Steve) Sanders, Sylvia Ramsey (Bobby Pruitt), Dolly Ramsey and Jalessa Ramsey; many grandchildren, and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

The visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 23, at 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 532 Maple Street, Blytheville, where Reverend Douglas Echols is the pastor.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Nov. 23, at 1 p.m. at New Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church. Bishop ML Smith will deliver the eulogy and burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
