Aretha Street

Aretha Street, 71, died November 9, 2019 at her home in Wilson.

She was a retired factory worker and a member of Greater Macedonia MB Church in Wilson. Ms. Street was born March 16, 1948 in Simsboro, LA to Robert and Arrisa Gipson Street.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Robert Street, Jr., three sisters Clotiel Kinsey, Myrtis Malry and Donnie Mae Pruitt. She is survived by two sons Darrell (Vivian) Street of Simsboro, LA and Kelvin (Stephanie Young) Street of Jonesboro, one daughter Donna Stokes of Wilson, four grandchildren Shelton Stokes, Phillip (Eureka) Stokes and Felix Johnson of Wilson, and David Street of Simsboro, LA and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 from 12-2 with the funeral at 2:00 pm at Greater Macedonia MB Church in Wilson. Burial will be at Whiteside Cemetery in Osceola, with Pastor Bryant Whitted, officiating. Wilson Funeral Home in Osceola is in charge.
